At the 57th Session of the Commission on Population and Development interactive roundtable discussion organized by Plan International in partnership with AGIP, She Decides and UNGEI, as follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, Sierra Leone’s Minister of Information and Civic Education, Mr. Chernor Bah highlighted the country’s commitment to delivering on the ICPD Promise for Adolescents girls and youth.
The Minister’s engagements in the CPD are parts of the series of activities marking the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the International Conference on Population and Development agenda. Minister Bah is expected to deliver remarks at another Ministerial High Level Event on “Demographic Resilience at Challenging Times” on May 1, 2024 at the United Nations.
